MAINKAI CAFE in Frankfurt

Delicious meal. Partly open differently from the opening times. Unfortunately, there is not always as many staff as there are customers, so that the service is competent and friendly. is slow.

Great breakfast cafe I visited the cafe twice and loved it both times. The selection is also very appealing for vegetarians / vegans (oat / soy milk with cappuccino possible), the staff is extremely friendly and courteous and the view of the Main rounds off the beautiful ambience. If I'm in FFM I'll be happy to have breakfast here again *****!

I can only recommend it. We are here almost every week and are more than satisfied every time. From the service to the kitchen, everything is excellent. The service staff are very attentive and are always friendly to the wishes of the guests. The price-performance ratio is also the same. Seldom found such a good restaurant.

Super tasty, we're there almost every week! I was able to surprise all my friends with the great breakfast there, everyone enjoyed it and they became big fans themselves =) The great team, which no matter how many special requests arise, always give their best to make us happy and pampered as guests! We gave up after waiting several minutes for someone to take our order. We first tried to order at the bar but were told to have a seat. One person was in charge of taking care of all tables. People that arrived after us were services first.

it is a nice place by the river, although the voice of cars are a little bit disgusting. they are super lovely and helpful. the food is good too. i had a nice time here. thank you

Since it is located directly on a busy street, it is quite noisy outside at the table. The waitress has to keep his distance because of Corona, so you need patience and a loud voice when ordering. The portions are clear, the semolina sauce is probably delivered ready-made in a 5-liter bucket and tastes "colorless". The herbs used are probably not grown but were produced and are therefore probably tasteless. It didn't taste bad, however. But the prices are peppery and salted. The service tried hard, which is really not easy in the current times. The weather was also very good, so 2 stars!

We were there because of the mostly positive reviews. However, we didn't like it at all. Had we had breakfast at home, we would have been better off. The staff was friendly.

Great experience here. Staff were friendly and had good humour. I was recommended a house white wine which was really delicious. The burger we ordered was super tasty. Our waitress Tina was the best..kind and funny. Come here for the river view and great atmosphere.

The waitress was super nice and sweet. Got our drinks quickly and we took one of the benches outside which we were supposed to reserve beforehand but didn’t yet they managed to get us that bank. Has a variety of things on the menu and a nice atmosphere to spend some time in front of the Main as well.

Wonderful ambience, excellent quality breakfast, friendly and attentive staff delivering good service, beautiful outside view of the Main - all in all a high quality experience, whether on your own or with the family. Attached are photos of the Hot Chocolate, the "Gourmet Breakfast" from the Menu, and the view from the outside seating. I'll be delighted to return.

It was a very tasty breakfast and (which surprised me) a really good tea as it should be. The room is very narrow and small: cozy, but it is not particularly private. The service was friendly and I find the prices appropriate for the size and taste.

This Frankfurt cafe with bistro fare has a nice old world feel. Great place to relax and take a load off. It's a relatively small place but large windows looking out on the water and over to Sachsenhausen help to create a comfortable space. Outdoor seating also available. Expect a wide assortment of hot and cold drinks. There's delicious options for kuchen to go with. The wait staff are bubbly and friendly.

They have very delicious cake and cappuccino. Their customer service is pleasant

My favourite cafe in Frankfurt😍 It's just in the center of the city, in front of the river. The food is very tasty and not expensive + the cafe is very cozy. The staff is super- friendly. I recommend this place for visiting

Best breakfast I had while visiting Frankfurt. I loved the scrambled egg with bacon and cheese option. Most places around only sold egg whites. Service was great and fast. They speak English and accept credit cards. Place is nice, warm, clean and cozy.
